Tom has written for BBC, SKY and ITV and many other production companies. His passion for composition was ignited whilst studying Jazz Piano at Leeds College of Music where he undertook an additional module in writing music for the Moving Image with noted Arranger Brian Morrell. He then studied Composition for Film and Television at Bristol University with BBC composers William Goodchild, Martin Kiszko and Recording Engineer Jonathan Scott. Here Tom honed his compositional skills, writing and arranging for orchestra as well as producing electronic scores.

Brain Space’ 2025 - A film by Laura Tofarides
Tom teamed up with filmmaker/animator Laura Tofarides and Josh Flynn, animator/puppet-maker at Aardman Animations, Bristol to produce music for Laura's Feature short 'Brain Space'. This beautiful, award winning animated film follows the internal world of Rhi who explores the fears and impulses that shape our internal world. When her inner child is threatened by the shadows of her own trauma, her fear turns to anger and she must fight back to regain control. From desperation to acceptance, she learns to choose life.
